Howdy folks. Two pictures today. The first is of all the designated drivers, at my grandad Geirs 80th birthdayparty, stuck in the corner together. That's daddy, daddys' older cousin Erna Sigga Hallgrímsdóttir and daddys' younger cousin, Kári Finnsson. The second picture daddy took at the band rehearsal early on Saturday morning. (They're musicians ... that's why they look so tired ... just like daddy always is in the morning ... he, he ... sorry Sváfnir ...) That's Sváfnir Sigurðsson on the left. He plays guitar and sings. Haraldur Vignir Sveinbjörnsson (Halli) in the middle. He plays piano and sings backing vocals and Kjartan Guðnason (Diddi) on drums. They're lovely people and you'll all like them. Yesterday (Saturday) my mum and dad as well as Þór Þórbergsson (Nannas' son) came and helped. Today it was me and my dad as well as Þórarinn Sigurðsson (Doddi, Helgas' son) were all painting. We finished everything we meant to finish and then some. So here is the list of finished rooms:
Porch, Jolyons' bedroom, Elijahs bedroom, spare bedroom, lounge, tv corner, hallway in front of lounge, bedroom hallway as well as a coat of white in the first bathroom. Not bad at all really.
I'm shattered now and think I'll have an early night as I'm taking grandad Freyr tomorrow morning and then it's back to work ... then home to you guys on Friday ... yippee!! Can't wait to see you all again.
